As you sit quietly, you visualize a peaceful stream with leaves floating on its surface, and each time a thought, feeling, or sensation arises, you imagine placing it on a leaf and watching it float away downstream. This exercise encourages you to let go of mental clutter, allowing your mind to rest and become more present, making it especially useful for reducing rumination and stress.
