Clinical Hypnotherapist and Mind-Body Practitioner
Specialising in Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Support
As an experienced Clinical Hypnotherapist and mind-body practitioner, I focus on supporting individuals with IBS as they work toward their quality of life and manage their symptoms, particularly those who seek a mind-body approach.
Through The Gut-Brain Connection Program, I work with clients from all walks of life who are seeking complementary support for persistent functional gut symptoms. My approach is designed to work alongside your medical care, providing tools for those whose symptoms remain a significant part of their daily lives.
My Approach
My protocol integrates evidence-informed Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy (GDH) with supportive elements of Cognitive Behavioural and Acceptance and Commitment-informed techniques. This approach is built on over 40 years of international clinical research into the gut-brain connection.
Professional Background
After years of focusing on stress and nervous system regulation, I became deeply interested in the connection between the gut and brain (the gut–brain axis). Clinical research highlights the bi-directional connection between the nervous system and digestive function. I focus on how stress and gut sensations can influence one another, and how supporting the regulation of that connection can assist in long-term symptom management.
My Goal for You
I support clients in exploring their gut–brain connection to assist in the management of functional digestive conditions. My aim is to provide you with tools to help you navigate the impact IBS can have on your daily activities.
This mind-body focus is designed to offer a specialized perspective on digestive wellbeing. If you are looking for complementary options to support your health, I am here to help you navigate that journey.
Note: A formal medical diagnosis of IBS from a GP or Gastroenterologist is required before beginning this program.

My Values
When it comes to supporting people in achieving meaningful, long-term management of their IBS, I believe clarity, compassion, and credibility matter. Here’s what guides my work:
Evidence First, Always
I use clinically-researched Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy as a foundation, enhanced by supportive elements of Cognitive Behavioural techniques and other mind-body modalities.
Empowerment Over Dependence
My goal is not to “fix” you—but to equip you. I help you understand the gut-brain connection and provide tools to support nervous system regulation. This work is designed to foster autonomy, providing you with skills for the long term.
Calm, Clear Communication
If you have felt unheard in your health journey, I provide a space for clear, plain-language explanations. I share the science in ways that make sense - no jargon, no hype - so you can make informed decisions about your wellbeing.
Safety + Integrity
Everything I offer is trauma-informed, respectful of your boundaries, and grounded in professional ethics. I’ll never make promises I can’t keep. While the journey requires commitment, I will walk alongside you with honesty and care.
Support for the Whole Person
IBS is a functional condition involving the nervous system, and that means you can learn to influence your body's response. I believe every person deserves to feel safe, at home in their body, and more confident in their daily life.
